AtlasDocs is a free web platform that brings together dozens of document tools — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, audio, video, spreadsheets, archives and much more. Best of all, everything runs right in your browser.

Yes. Every tool is free and you don’t need to create an account.

No. Just open the site in your browser; nothing is installed on your device.

Yes. Because everything runs in the browser, it works the same on desktop, tablet and phone.

Yes. Follow the AtlasDocs page on LinkedIn to keep up with new tools and platform news.

For most tools, no. The processing happens in your browser, on your own device. Therefore, your files never leave your machine.

Yes, a few. Opening and converting Office files and some heavier converters run on a server. In those cases, we clearly say so on screen and discard the file right after use.

Use the Security and Privacy category. The options “Clean before sharing” (PDF), “Clean image”, “Clean Office document” and “Clean audio/video” strip metadata and location.

Yes. The “Redact” tool covers and permanently deletes the content, leaving no text hidden under the mark.

Yes. You can password-protect PDF, Office files and ZIP/7z. Likewise, you can also remove the password when you have permission.

It removes the content credential (C2PA) that makes some social networks flag your photo as “made with AI”.

On the AtlasDocs blog, click “Follow the blog” and accept the browser prompt. That's it: you'll get a notification whenever we publish a new guide or improve a tool. It's free and asks for no email or sign-up. The subscription stores only what is needed to deliver the alert: the technical address your browser uses to receive the notification, the two keys that protect the delivery, the language you read the site in, and the date you subscribed. To stop, click “Unfollow” in the same spot. On iPhone and iPad, alerts only work if you add AtlasDocs to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen).

Use “Merge” to combine several files and “Split” to separate them. In addition, you can extract, delete, reorder, rotate and number pages.

Use “Compress”. It reduces the file size while keeping it easy to read.

Use “PDF → Word”, “PDF → PPTX” or “PDF → image”. You can also extract the text and convert to Markdown or EPUB.

Use the converters in the Create PDF category: Office → PDF, Text → PDF, Markdown → PDF, HTML → PDF, EPUB → PDF and more.

In the Edit PDF category you can sign, add text, insert an image, create a header and footer, highlight passages and apply a watermark.

You can convert format, compress, rotate and flip images, plus transform HEIC, TIFF, AVIF and SVG. You can also combine several images into a PPTX.

Use “View image” to open the HEIC right in the browser, or “HEIC → JPG” to convert it.

You can convert video to MP4, extract the audio (MP4 → MP3), convert audio to MP3, join videos, add a soundtrack and build a slideshow.

Plenty: Excel ↔ CSV, CSV ↔ JSON, JSON ↔ YAML, XML → JSON, CSV/JSON ↔ SQLite and OCR (extract text from images and PDFs).

You can create ZIP, 7z and GZIP, unzip, preview the contents without extracting, and protect or remove the password.

Yes. In the “View or Open” category, you open PDF, image, audio, video, text, documents, spreadsheets and Office files (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) right in the browser.
