Convert DXF to PNG

Turn a .dxf CAD drawing into a PNG image right in your browser, no AutoCAD needed: pick the resolution (up to 4096 pixels on the longer side) and the background, white for printing or transparent for overlays. The drawing never leaves your device.

Drag your files: PDF, EPUB, HEIC, JPG, PNG, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, MD, etc.

Frequently asked questions

Which resolution should I pick?
1024 pixels is fine for previews and social media; 2048 for documents and presentations; 4096 for printing or very detailed plans. The number is the longer side of the image; the other follows the drawing's proportions.
White or transparent background?
White reproduces paper and is the default for printing and documents. Transparent lets you place the drawing over another image or a dark background — but black lines vanish on black, so check where you'll use it.
What can be missing from the conversion?
Text labels and dimensions may not appear, because they depend on CAD fonts and styles the browser doesn't have. The tool shows how many elements and layers were drawn so you can check.
Does it accept .dwg files?
No. DWG is AutoCAD's closed format and must be exported as .dxf from your CAD program first. DWG conversion is planned as a separate tool.
Is my drawing sent to any server?
No. Reading the DXF and generating the image happen 100% in your browser.
